This heavy-hitting combination works together to securely lodge piles deep in the soil. Its accompanying vibration device compresses the earth around the pile providing it with a sturdy foundation.

To reinforce and underpin the structures needed in the grand scheme of our built environment, pile drivers are an essential tool. They are responsible for firmly planting wooden, concrete, and steel piles deep into the ground; providing solid foundations for buildings, bridges, and other constructions necessary to society. Furthermore, pile drivers can also be deployed in order to place utility poles – an invaluable commodity in modern life.

The imposing silhouette of the pile driver is a familiar sight on construction sites, inexorably driven into the ground via a crane-attached frame and the utilization of a hydraulic ram. Its purpose is clear: to penetrate the rocky surface with a determined force that marks the beginning of a new construction project.

After hammering the pile into the ground, the crane hoists the pile driver away from it. Then, a vibrations-inducing mechanism is employed to firmly bind the soil surrounding the pile, thus producing a strong layer that will support the assembly above it.
